Woodward is looking for Machine Repair and Preventative Maintenance Technicians to join our 2nd shift teams at the Rock Cut Campus in Loves Park, IL. Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and execute preventative maintenance on machinery following standard operating procedures. Diagnose Basic Issues: Identify and troubleshoot straightforward machine malfunctions using established guidelines and diagnostic tools. Execute Repairs: Carry out necessary repairs on equipment under close supervision, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Document Maintenance Activities: Accurately record all maintenance and repair tasks in maintenance logs and reports. Collaborate with Team Members: Communicate technical information and work effectively with team members to ensure optimal machine performance. Diagnose Machine Issues: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems in machinery to determine appropriate corrective actions. Perform Repairs and Maintenance: Execute regular and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure optimal machine performance and minimize downtime. Ensure Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations while performing repair and maintenance tasks to maintain a safe work environment.
