POSITION OVERVIEW:

TheEngineeringManageris responsible forleadership within the MPG-Brentwood Engineeringorganization. The manager leadsateam withexpertiseinmicroelectronic RF design& test,mechanical,PWB layout,andprocess engineering,andis responsible for planning, organizing, and directing engineering personnelwith maximum efficiency. TheEngineeringManageralsodrives problem-solvingactivities and providesownership throughout the organization for corrective actions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams withexpertiseinRF design & test, mechanical, PWB layout, and process engineering

  • Develop high-performing teams focused on achieving segment performance objectives

  • Develop and manage key metrics and KPIs relevant tobusinessand operational excellence

  • Provide operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity and schedule attainment

  • Create a culture of accountabilityandownershipofdesign, development,and productionsupport

  • Develop andmaintainprocesses to prevent and/oraddressdesign issuesorproduction delays

  • Work closely with program management to ensure customer requirements are met

  • When applicable,workand interface directly with the customer to ensureaccurateandtimelyexchange of information and status

  • Collaborate with other departments toidentifyrisks and close operational gaps

  • Identifyand implement continuous improvement initiatives that improve thedepartment'sperformance

  • Collaborate with QualityAssuranceto address quality concerns

  • Develop good working relationships with stakeholders, internal and external, to ensureeffectivecommunicationofaccurate, relevant, andtimelyinformation

  • Coordinate resources between projects and proposals, working with program management andsite leadershiptodeterminepriorities

  • Manageresource capacity planning to ensure effective supportof allprojects

  • Maintaindepartment'sadherence to industry standards (e.g.ISO9001, MIL-PRF-38534, etc.)

  • Manage department budget responsibly, including capitalrequests & justifications

  • Manage group software licensing, includingupgrades and proposals for new tools

  • Prepare,submit, and present periodic reports at multiple levels withing the organization, including executive leadership

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Develop andfacilitatecomprehensive onboarding and new hire training for their assigned team.

  • Build team unity to encourage retention and continuity of operations.

  • Provide training and leadership and act as a change agent whilerepresentinga positive and enthusiastic role model to ensure high engagement across the team.

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:

  • Must be a US Person (US Citizen or permanent resident - green card holder)

  • Bachelor's degree inengineeringorcommensuratedemonstratedequivalent experience

  • 5+years of experience indesignengineeringor 10+ years of experience in microelectronicsindustry

  • 3+ years of experiencein engineering management/leadership

  • Experience managing projects with medium complexity and a high-volume of data

  • Experience in a clean room production environment preferred

  • Priorproblem-solving training and/or certifications preferred

Knowledge,Skillsand Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with ability to communicate within all levels of the organization

  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of disciplines in a dynamic environment and motivate them to work together as a team

  • Self-driven,adaptableand resourceful; able to work under limited supervision

  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate vision into action

  • Experienced user of ERP systems (IFS, Oracle, etc.)

  • Computer and Microsoft Office literate (Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Experience in creating and managing a departmental budget

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Pay Range: $130,000.00 - $160,000.00annually

Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
