Position Summary: Internship for an undergraduate student in the area of Asset Control and Logistics. The intern will have the opportunity of learning and practicing activities related to inventory control and transportation within the environment of technical operations of a major cargo airline.

Major Job Accountabilities:



  • Learn about aviation work environment and different regulatory compliance (FAA, DOT, SOX, etc)
  • Learn and collaborate with improving key performance indicators in receiving, storing, and shipping materials.
  • Participate in the development of reports and dashboards to ensure comprehensive process control.
  • Support the evaluation and selection of best transportation alternatives to achieve delivery and cost targets.
  • Support the control of inventory and investigation of missing assets.
  • Learn specifics of aviation material certification, quality control, and record keeping.
  • Propose the implementation of new technologies to reduce cost and improve efficiency
  • Practice oral and written communications skills, Problem Solving analytical ability.


Qualifications



  • Undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor in the field of supply chain, business administration, operations, or a related field.
  • Good critical thinking and computer proficiency in data analytical tools
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.

Competitive compensation will be offered based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity and other factors. In addition, a range of benefits to include medical, dental and vision insurance, employee assistance program, as well as generous paid time off, and 401K contributions are offered as a part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range
$22 $24 USD
