Position Title: Production Machine Operator
Wage: $17.00 per hour Shift: 1st, 2nd Hours: 5:00am-1:30pm; 6:00am-2:30pm; 2:30pm-11:00pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Production Machine Operator position available at a company in Fond du Lac, WI. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Production Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Maintain a general understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements, and departmental procedures. - Inspect and package parts according to specification pages and record all required information on in-process sheets. - Cut, bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble, and label materials following specific production instructions. - Operate or assist with manufacturing machinery, including block cutting, hauling, wrapping equipment, side-wrappers, and pallet jacks. - Verify equipment setup throughout the production process; operate and safely power down machinery as required. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company standards. Production Machine Operator Requirements: - High school diploma or GED preferred (not required). - Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred. - Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills preferred. - Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (preferred). - Ability to use simple math, count accurately, and utilize basic handheld measuring tools preferred. fonddulac@qpsemployment.com About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
