Purpose of the Job
As a Retail Producer, you will orchestrate strategic program management and provide executional leadership for retail marketing initiatives. You will partner closely with internal creative teams and agency partners to deliver exceptional design, product experiences, visual merchandising, graphics, and signage.
You will drive new store openings, seasonal campaigns, and new product launches across the entire creative lifecycle-aligning work with strategic and budgetary goals, delivering on schedule, and ensuring flawless execution. In this role, you will act as a central hub for key cross-functional stakeholders, providing the direct communication and alignment necessary to ensure project success.
This will be a position based in New York City and be required on-site 2-3 days per week, with the ability to work from home the remaining days.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical retail operations and systems administration, including ticketing, device registration, experience maintenance, documentation, and planogram updates.
Assess creative briefs, establish and enforce timelines and budgets, and coordinate comprehensive stakeholder reviews.
Drive proactive, transparent communication with cross-functional teams. Provide clear updates on project status, anticipate and mitigate risks, and expertly articulate priorities.
Analyze and refine processes. Maximize efficiency and team well-being within the retail producer team and retail creative group.
Support the retail creative development process with internal teams and/or agency partners in the following areas: creative resourcing, timeline management, budget management, creative project team management, cross-functional communication, creative strategy, regional share outs, legal approvals, and production hand-off to deliver exceptional creative.
Ensure teams consider customer experience, retail presence and brand integrity in every decision. Have a keen eye for design, always push for innovation and highlight the magic of the products.
Own clear and timely communication to cross-functional team leads regarding project status, obstacles and priorities. Proactively identify, communicate and manage risks.
Develop schedules for deliverables partnering closely with Traffic and Production Managers to ensure accuracy.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
5-7 years of experience managing the creative development and execution from creative brief through launch.
Background in experiential marketing and interactive production for retail stores
Critical attention to detail to ensure quality execution and detail oriented systems management and production
Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
Operational experience and expertise in system management and support tickets
Familiarity and comfort with project management tools like Jira, Asana, Smartsheets, etc.
Experience overseeing campaigns and projects with multiple executive stakeholders.
Ability to manage cross-team collaborations with clear communication for optimum results.
Ability to navigate through ambiguity and grow in a fast-paced, technical work environment.
Ability to proactively establish rapport, credibility and influence.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify solutions that work for multiple stakeholders.
Excellent leadership, written/verbal communication, and presentation skills.
For Ney York applicants: The salary range for this position is $135,000 to $165,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus targets, benefits and/or other applicable incentives.
