Acara Solutions seeks an Traffic Modeling System Engineer for Missile Tracking for our client in Scottsdale, AZ.
- As a Missile Tracking Systems Engineer designing Traffic Data Models for the US Space Force Space Development Agency (SDA) Ground, Management and Integration (GMI) program, you will be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying state-of-the-art ground operational systems for the Proliferated War fighter Space Architecture (PWSA).
- You will be part of an elite team providing the evolution, expansion, integration, testing and maintenance of the ground entry points, operations centres, enterprise test and checkout capabilities and infrastructure management, including all development, systems engineering, integration, testing, maintenance, and site support.
- Systems engineering that includes decomposing requirements into modelling of the traffic data flow from a satellite constellation to the ground network
- Pre-planned or ad-hoc scheduling and satellite services to track missiles
- Analysis of missile tracking data to validate the traffic model
Required skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or Science or Engineering or Technology or Mathematics with 5 years' experience.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in recent modeling of communication data, using satellite constellations and ground networks
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Satellite to Ground RF communication protocol, end to end packet prioritization and routing, or traffic modelling.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in missile tracking systems design and architecture, and sensor fusion techniques
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing logic, assessing and scheduling satellite services to track missiles
- Minimum 5 years of experience in image processing (collection, handling, storing, and analysis)
Preferred skills:
- Master's Degree in systems Engineering or Science or Engineering or Technology or Mathematics with 3 years of experience.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in system design and deployment
- Agile experience
