Description

Acara Solutions seeks a ServiceNow Platform Administrator for our client in Scottsdale, AZ.

  • The ServiceNow Platform Administrator serves as the technical lead responsible for the health, performance, and operational integrity the ServiceNow instance.
  • This role needs deep expertise in ServiceNow architecture, system administration, and security protocols specific to air-gapped networks.
  • Manage platform upgrades and patch deployments following strict change control procedures.
  • Configure and maintain system properties, email, integrations, scheduled jobs, and platform security settings.
  • Implement and enforce access controls, user roles, and authentication mechanisms compliant with security policies.
  • Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability metrics; proactively address bottlenecks and issues.
  • Develop and maintain platform documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Lead incident response for platform-level issues and participate in change advisory board (CAB) processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to other team members and end users.
  • Maintain compliance with federal security standards including NIST, FedRAMP, or DoD requirements as applicable.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or Science or Engineering or Technology or Mathematics with 5 years of experience.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) needed.
  • Minimum of 5 years ServiceNow platform administration experience.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree with 3 years of experience.
  • Agile experience.
  • Experience with air-gapped or classified networks.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management principles.

Additional Information:

  • Requires an active Secret Clearance.
