Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves analyzing, designing, developing, and supporting applications that integrate with existing business components. The ideal candidate will use their skills in SAS, Teradata, and Unix scripting to develop data sourcing and transaction monitoring solutions within the banking domain. Responsibilities: Analyze, design, develop, enhance and support applications that integrate with existing business components Develop and support new project requirements, including coordinating with business stakeholders to understand requirements Analyze application and process issues, including problem identification and coordination with support teams Regularly communicate work progress with management, identifying and resolving issues quickly Gather and interpret data requirements, perform research and analysis, and develop data sourcing solutions Requirements: Experience in software development using SAS, Teradata, and Unix scripting Good knowledge of banking products, operational processes, and end-to-end transaction flow Ability to gather and interpret data requirements Experience with Python and Hadoop Excellent organization, communication, and team skills Ability to learn business processes quickly and work under minimal supervision Desired skills: Experience with Spark Knowledge in the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) domain Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
