Your Opportunity: Venture Solutions, a Taylor Corporation company, is seeking a Production Control Coordinator to join the team at our Fort Worth, TX facility. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and implementing production job orders to ensure SLAs are met and production objectives are achieved.

This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). All employees must undergo a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Your Shift: Monday - Friday; 6:00am - 2:00pm

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the master production schedule and establish sequence and lead time for print and inserting operations.
  • Plan and schedule workflow for print and mail operations, providing regular production floor updates and monitoring job status to ensure SLA targets are met.
  • Track job progress throughout the shift and escalate risks, constraints, or delays with recommended solutions.
  • Work closely with Account Management and Client Service teams to respond to inquiries and production requests with urgency.
  • Provide updates in Jira regarding equipment downtime or job delays, coordinating with IT, Programming, and Client Service as needed.
  • Assess scheduling performance and recommend corrective actions to meet daily production objectives.
  • Plan and monitor material movement throughout production cycles to ensure continuous operations.
  • Prepare daily shift reports and maintain up-to-date knowledge of production objectives and priorities.

You Must Have:

  • Ability to work with a strong sense of urgency and demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Ability to assist managers in coordinating production activities while maintaining production goals.
  • Ability to work within multiple business systems and tools including Jira, Excel, and mainframe systems.
  • Ability to schedule equipment and plan materials and machine needs for each job order.
  • Ability to track job status and clearly document special instructions on job orders.

Requirements Within This Position:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information so others will understand.
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
  • Frequently required to move throughout the facility.
  • Constantly work in a production environment and interact with print and mail equipment.

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Print and mail industry experience or the ability to train on processes and systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in production operations or a related area.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and operational decision-making skills.
  • Leadership ability with potential for advancement.
