Job Summary: The main purpose of the Senior Nuclear Engineering Technologist: Routine NDE Coordinator - is to coordinate the implementation of Routine NDE activities throughout the fleet. This applies to all Routine NDE, including select Programs activities, but excluding Steam Generator inspection activities, which are governed by PD-EG-PWR-1801 (Steam Generator Management Program). Utilizing Routine NDE schedules created by the Fleet Programs group, the Routine NDE Coordinator will arrange the needed implementation site specific support to ensure successful completion of the associated inspection. The Routine NDE Coordinator will also interface with the internal resources and/or vendor provider to ensure equipment and personnel are prepared for the inspection. Implementation contingency plans, management updates, and site presentations will be performed by this individual. Upon implementation of said activities, the coordinator will transition into an oversight role to validate the activities are proceeding as expected. The Routine NDE Coordinator will have frequent interaction with various Site and Fleet organizations. These can include Corporate/Site Management, Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Principal NDE Level IIIs, Implementation NDE Level IIIs, Implementation NDE Level IIs, (eg: ORB / T-3 / PHC presentations), and various engineers. The individual will attend meetings representing Routine NDE, review work schedules, and perform in outage schedule related functions consistent with the milestones per AD-WC-ALL-0320.
