The Department of Surgery at the University of Virginia seeks applicants for a Senior Administrative Assistant. This position performs advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative duties supporting faculty members in departmental and institutional leadership positions. Primary hours are 8-4:30pm, and the position will be on grounds in Charlottesville Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include:

Physical Demands This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. The anticipated hiring range is $19.50-$27/hour, commensurate with education and experience. This is a non-exempt-level, benefited position. Learn more about UVA benefits. This is a restricted position, which is dependent on funding and is contingent upon funding availability. This position is based in Charlottesville, VA, and must be performed fully on-site.
