Maintenance Team Leader

The Maintenance Leader is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the associates who maintain and repair equipment. This position will work with the supervisors and leads from other departments to determine repair priority. This position is responsible for evaluating problematic systems or facilities and determining what installation or repair services need to be performed. This position will assist the department Manager on any delegated tasks of the department. This position will train, complete repairs, and assist associates as needed. This position will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Manager with supervising and training associates
  • Schedule work assignments in area to meet shift, planned and unplanned maintenance
  • Ensure parts are identified to be ordered that are used and ensure parts are on work orders
  • Monitor productivity, quality and correct implementation of all policies, procedures, etc.
  • Responsible for up-keep and maintenance of shop equipment assigned and personal equipment issued
  • Train employees on correct reporting of all parts, labor, and notes on work orders
  • Train new associates in the area to meet job requirements
  • Assist with determining any project requirements, including scope and required methods and materials, drawings and written or verbal instruction

Required Education and Experience

  • Completion of a relevant Technical Program

Preferred Education and Experience

  • 5 yrs of Industrial Maintenance or related experience
  • PLC'S, CMMS, Microsoft Office
  • Machine operation, Fabrication, Welding and PLC programming

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
