Overview The Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for providing daily oversight and management of all projects/tickets/tasks assigned to the IT Solutions team and communicate status updates to the customer. The individual will ensure the proper assignment of the IT Solutions team members for project work in the queue. Very hands on leader with successful record for delivering large complex IT projects within the DoD environment. The Senior IT Project Manager shall have a strong understanding of ITIL best practices and the use of Microsoft Project to drive project initiatives to completion. The Senior IT Project Manager will be the catalyst that enables the IT Solutions team to be fully functional, productive and able to deliver projects/solutions while interfacing with the customer. Serve as lead in coordinating the development tasks, documentation, and metrics to deliver IT related solutions in support of Tech refresh activities on base.
