The Facilities team are seeking an energetic Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join Gigafactory Texas in our Data Center. This person will play a critical role in ensuring our maintenance crews are performing optimally, while keeping safety as their North Star. What You'll Do
  • Responsible for leading skilled technical staff in executing maintenance projects with an expert knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, and Waste Water Systems
  • Duties include formulating policies and procedures, supervising nightly operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives
  • Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules, resolve technical problems, and acts as incident commander during facility excursions; Manage on-shift escalations
  • Identifies complex problems and reviews related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
  • Communicates detailed plans for work assignments and is the first point of contact for issues that arise on the shift
  • Reviews activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement

What You'll Bring
  • Degree in technical fieldor equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of related trade experience supporting industrial manufacturing facilities
  • Capable of obtaining OSHA 30 within 3 months of hire, and also capable lifting at least 20 pounds
  • Work in heavy equipment rooms, chemical storage, and distribution locations, and industrial waste plants
