The Opportunity

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Outreach Coordinator, in alignment with the mission, vision, and strategic priorities of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and the Division of Student Affairs, provides high-quality, student-centered mental health services that support student well-being and academic success.

Reporting to the Director of Counseling Services, the individual selected for this position administers and coordinates outreach and prevention services for the Counseling Center while also providing individual and group counseling. The selected candidate will develop and maintain partnerships with university stakeholders through outreach services, prevention programming, and relationship-building efforts. With guidance from the Director, the Outreach Coordinator/LMHC will design and implement outreach initiatives, facilitate internal evaluations of services, and track program metrics and outcomes.

This role contributes directly to student success and retention by delivering individual and group counseling, as well as outreach activities that address the mental health needs of a diverse student population, including those enrolled in academically rigorous and high-performance programs in aviation, aerospace, and STEM disciplines.

This is a full-time, twelve month position.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position islow to mid $60,000s. The final offer will consider the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience, along with applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs.

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree, Mental Health Related Field
  • Must be licensed: Florida State License, i.e. LMHC, LCSW, LMFT

Required skills, knowledge, abilities:

  • Florida licensed mental health clinician, professional experience working with diverse populations. Experience in facilitating and coordinating psycho-educational workshops, training, and presentations.
