In this role, as a Field Administrative Coordinator, you support on-site projects and staff by managing daily administrative operation and document control. Key duties include, but not limited to managing daily job reports, job site safety inspections, timekeeping, equipment inspections and work permits. This role typically requires strong organizational, communication, and software skills to maintain efficient workflow between field teams, management and clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Significant focus is required to ensure delays are documented and project impacts are captured in the daily report.
  • Ensures daily timecards are completed properly.
  • Provides detailed reports on observations to the PM and Superintendent. May be responsible for verification of proper materials and work in place.
  • Interaction with clients providing reports and daily documentation submissions such as safety reports, daily work permits and daily job progress
  • Software knowledge: Acquire certification and proficiency in utilizing advanced technologies, including but not limited to Procore, Building Connected, devices and technologies {or project documentation purposes.
  • Other duties which may be assigned as needed.

Education & Years of Experience:

  • Highschool Diploma, GED or Equivalent is preferred. Minimum 2 years in electrical construction. Minimum 1-year prior experience in job site administrative position(s).1- year minimum job site safety experience.

  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with customers, management, supervisors, employees, and suppliers.
  • Emphasis on fast-track electrical construction projects with aggressive schedules.
  • Travel is required.
  • Additional leadership training and computer technology training are preferred.
  • Organizational and verbal communication skills; attention to detail.
  • Carry out detailed written and verbal instructions independently.
  • Provide effective verbal and written instructions.
  • Leadership and management skills.
  • Collaborate with others to accomplish organizational goals, identify and resolve problems.
  • Retrieve information from technical sources.
  • Maintain First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Maintains an OSHA 30-hour certification.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
