Job Title: Event Planner (Healthcare/Medical) Duration: 03 months temp to hire Location: Irwindale, CA 91706 -Onsite Shift: 1st 7am - 3:30pm Payrate: $35/hr. to $45/hr. on w2 without benefits Pre-Screening Questions: Do you have any experience working in healthcare/medical industry? How many years of event planning/ experience do you have? Do you have an experience with executing sponsorship events nationwide, experience working closely with internal and external stakeholders or managing and reconciling budgets? Must have a Bachelor degree. Job Description: The Event Producer is responsible for planning and executing sponsorship events nationwide, ensuring alignment with City of Hope's mission, vision, values, and culture. This role centers on developing, managing, and advising while working closely with internal and external stakeholders to build excitement and deliver an exceptional event experience for participants. Research and analyze potential sponsorships to expand City of Hope s visibility amongst key audiences and build relationships with external organizations and institutions. Responsible for sourcing and applying technologies to create interactive elements that maximize audience engagement. Accountable for overseeing project initiation, execution, closure, and strategic planning for future initiatives. Oversee the resolution of challenges, mitigation of risks, and execution of key initiatives for sponsorships. Create briefings to ensure all event participants are fully informed and prepared for their involvement in the sponsorship. Manage and reconcile budgets for the sponsorships division. Establish success by creating key performance indicators that align with strategic goals and objectives Required Qualifications: Minimum Education: Bachelor s Degree Preferred Education: Event Planning and Management, Marketing, Communications, or Hospitality degree preferred. Minimum Experience: 3-5 years of event planning experience.
