We're seeking a Accounts Payable Clerk in West Monroe who enjoys tracking payments, logging transactions, and helping the team stay on top of deadlines. Organized? Detail-obsessed? You're exactly who we want.

Requirements for a Great Fit

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience (service industry preferred)
• Hands-on experience withSage or QuickBooksrequired
• Associate degree in Accounting or related field (preferred but not required)
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

What You'll Be Handling

• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and timely
• Match purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices
• Code invoices to correct general ledger accounts
• Enter invoices into Sage or QuickBooks accounting system
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and ACH payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized vendor files and documentation
• Assist with month-end closing processes
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
