Position Overview

Woolpert is hiring an Architect to join our dynamic Healthcare Architecture Team at ourCoral Gables, FL office.The candidate will be working on multiple healthcare related projects and will be responsible for preparing drawings for permitting and bidding.

What You Will Do:



  • Perform architectural assignments under general supervision
  • Review completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations
  • Create and modify architectural project designs and drawings; design review and project scheduling
  • Prepare graphics, presentations, contract drawings, and regulatory submissions
  • Organize and maintain project record information and drawings
  • Coordinate with clients, project consultants, and engineers


What You Will Bring:



  • 5 years' experience, preferably in Healthcare Architecture
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture; master's degree a plus
  • Florida Architectural License or NCARB certification required
  • LEED accreditation preferred
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-up and other design applications
  • Advanced-level competency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to apply architectural principles to buildings/structures and their components or assemblies.
  • Ability to handle designing and drafting assignments including site plans, floor plans, elevations, and sections required
  • Self-motivated to meet deadlines and improve process and deliverables
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Ability to write reports and specifications required

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
