Secretary I This position requires an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered. A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify. The Secretary II provides intermediate to advanced administrative support and performs a broader range of clerical and office coordination duties. This position requires greater independence, judgment, and proficiency with DMDC/DHRA software tools and government business processes. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Secretary I 20-22/hour +5.55/hour Health and Welfare Benefit Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Secretary I Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: High school diploma or GED required Associate degree or administrative training preferred Strong administrative and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Adobe Pro, and Visio Experience using government task management and workflow systems (e.g., ETMS2, TMT, ServiceNow) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately Ability to coordinate and track multiple tasks and assignments Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal Company Information: Cherokee Nation Defense Solutions (CNDS) is a part of Cherokee Federal - the division of tribally owned federal contracting companies owned by Cherokee Nation Businesses.
