The Coordinator, Vendor Relations and Special Projects, role is pivotal in supporting the Vice President of Radiation Oncology and Diagnostic Imaging. This position will be responsible for ensuring USON practice input into vendor product evaluations and ensure that Radiation and Imaging related vendor contracts meet the needs of the network. In addition, this position will serve as project manager for large national projects at the direction of the VP of R&I.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end process of evaluating new products by coordinating stakeholder input, collecting and analyzing relevant data, and facilitating strategic discussions with senior leaders, all under the direction of the Vice President to ensure solutions meet organizational needs and standards.

  • Oversee the management and implementation of new product solutions by coordinating with IT and procurement teams to ensure compliance with internal processes, timely acquisition of necessary resources, and alignment with organizational standards and operational requirements.

  • Lead and coordinate USON R&I network projects by aligning cross-functional teams, managing timelines and resources, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and ensuring successful implementation of strategic initiatives that advance organizational goals and deliver measurable impact across the network.

  • Serve as the primary liaison with vendors to facilitate timely and accurate information exchange, maintain clear and consistent communication, and ensure strict adherence to established internal processes and compliance requirements throughout all project phases.

  • Provide comprehensive project support to the VP of R&I by managing communications, coordinating project activities, preparing documentation, and facilitating stakeholder engagement to ensure timely execution and alignment with organizational objectives.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience

Critical Skills

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in vendor relationships, management experience in a related field, or project management.

  • Strong working knowledge of Radiation and Imaging Services, including technology, workflows and business operations

  • Ability to assess and understand financial reports and business reports.

  • Proficient in using Microsoft applications to present and manipulate data.

  • Time and project management skills to ensure business timelines are met.

  • Ability to communicate with a variety of audiences.

  • Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.

  • Ability to collaborate with other teams

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity

  • Exercises sound knowledge and good judgment.

  • Accountable and results oriented.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $85,400 - $142,400
