WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): The Regional Communications Director will develop, plan, and implement communications and marketing activities that drive business objectives and results, raise the visibility of the Red Cross mission, support revenue generation, and educate the public on how to access Red Cross services. You will work cross-functionally to provide communication and marketing support and implement the strategic plan aligned with organizational communication and marketing priorities. Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to staff as needed, and offer leadership, development, and support to volunteers across the region. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State, and local regulations. This role is not eligible for relocation assistance. This role will report to our Honolulu office 3 days a week (subject to change based on business need). Regional travel involved. The salary range for this position is (HI): $81,620-$87,032/yr. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. * Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted). PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions.
