As a Security Officer - Unarmed Foot Patrol in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and media location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors while delivering customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a tech and media workplace.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, studios, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and interior areas, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization in accordance with post orders and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in process.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notifications to site contacts, and coordination with emergency responders as directed.
• Complete detailed reports on patrol observations, access activity, incidents, and maintenance concerns, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
