Responsibilities

The Housekeeper ensures that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and disinfected to company standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cleans all surfaces (furniture, floors, windows, etc.) and decor with appropriate method and product.
  • Maintains a safe work environment (i.e., proper signage, wet floors, proper SDS labels).
  • Empties trash.
  • Deep cleans rooms as necessary.
  • Replenishes custodial supplies and office supplies.
  • Checks rooms for any damages or repairs and immediately reports safety hazards to facilities staff.
  • Cleans and maintains custodial equipment (i.e., vacuums, carpet cleaners etc.).
  • Assists with room preparations for any admissions and discharges.
  • Launders linens as necessary.
  • Ensures safe and sanitary storage and care of products.
  • Responds to custodial crisis (i.e., spills, broken glass etc.).

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One (1) years' experience with environmental services required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Compensation for this role ranges from $16-$21 per hour depending on education and experience.
