Sales Transformation Director

We are seeking an experienced Director, Sales Transformation & Program Delivery to play a pivotal role in shaping Adobe's evolving go-to-market transformation strategy. This leader will serve as a transformation expert, enterprise program manager, and architect of our transformation/PMO operating model, driving our most complex, visible, and strategic initiatives.

This role will begin as an individual contributor operating at director scope, leading cross functional, functional, high programs while mentoring junior team members and establishing the standards that will guide how our Transformation Office scales. As the organization grows, this role is expected to expand into formal people leadership, owning a portfolio of transformation programs and developing a high performing team.

The ideal candidate is an enterprise-level change leader who thrives in ambiguity, brings strong PMO discipline with modern transformation approaches, and has a proven ability to turn strategic intent into operational execution across large, matrixed organizations.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Framework Development
  • Coauthor the Sales Transformation and PMO framework, including methodologies, standards, governance models, and delivery best practices.

  • Shape the operating model for the Sales Transformation Office, contributing to how we intake, prioritize, govern, and deliver enterprise transformation.

  • Define and implement consistent practices across program delivery, measurement, and reporting.

Enterprise Program Delivery
  • Lead Adobe's highest prioritypriority, most complex, and most visible sales transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment to strategic outcomes.

  • Drive end-to-endtoend program strategy, structuring work from ambiguous starting points into clear, executable plans.

  • Operate as a trusted partner to senior executives, connecting strategy to execution and ensuring cross functional alignment.

Governance, Operating Rhythm, and Decision Acceleration
  • Establish program governance tailored to initiative complexity; create the right cadences, forums, and decision making structures.

  • Proactively surface risks, tradeoffs, and interdependencies to enable leadership to make informed, timely decisions.

  • Ensure transparency through crisp storytelling, insights-based reporting, and KPI-driven program performance management.

Change Leadership and Organizational Enablement
  • Act as a visible change leader, mobilizing teams, enabling adoption, and driving transformation readiness across sales, marketing, operations, finance, and product.

  • Model and promote a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Team and Capability Development
  • Mentor and coach junior program managers, elevating program delivery capabilities across the team and broader organization.

  • Partner closely with the future Transformation Portfolio Manager to ensure alignment across prioritization, sequencing, and resource planning.

  • Grow into a formal people leadership role as the Transformation Office expands.

Qualifications
Required
  • 12-15+ years of program management, transformation leadership, or PMO experience with proven success leading enterprise level and cross-functional strategic change.

  • Expertise in enterprise transformation, including operating model redesigns, business process modernization, or large scale strategic initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to architect frameworks, governance models, and program delivery standards.

  • Deep understanding of sales motions, go-to-market processes, and supporting technologies (CRM, analytics, enablement platforms).

  • Exceptional executive presence, communication, and influence; skilled at translating complexity into clarity.

  • Mastery of both traditional PMO discipline and modern, adaptive, outcomes driven approaches (agile, lean, iterative execution).

  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast paced environment and create structure where none exist.

Preferred
  • Leadership experience within a Transformation Office, Enterprise PMO, or Strategy/Operations environment.

  • Management consulting background or experience designing enterprise-wide operating frameworks.

  • SaaS or subscription business experience.

  • Prior experience developing and mentoring program managers, even without direct reporting structure.

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $159,900 -- $325,900 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $225,100 - $325,900

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
