Auria is looking to hire an Electrical Engineer - Radio Frequency / Spectrum. This role is remote in the Washington, DC Metro Area. This team specializes in designing next-generation communication systems and software for advanced RF communication networks. We are seeking experienced and innovative engineers to join our dynamic team and work on complex and exciting challenges. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO: Apply Radio Frequency (RF) engineering principles to analyze performance. Contribute to spectrum management, satellite registration, and RF network design. Conduct modeling and simulations for wireless communication systems. Utilize communication theory, link budgets, and electromagnetic principles in system analysis. Develop and use software tools to analyze co-frequency sharing between wireless networks. Support algorithm development, validation, and documentation of analytical tools. 3 WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (Consideration given to candidates with degrees in Computer Engineering, Aerospace, or Physics with relevant experience). Experience: 3+ years in RF engineering or related fields. Clearance: Secret Clearance or higher required. Technical Knowledge: Experience with RF design, antennas, wireless communications, and signal processing. Familiarity with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), International Telecommunication Union (ITU), or National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) system registration processes. Proficiency in performance analysis and optimization of RF networks. WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including probability, statistics, linear algebra, and algorithm development. Proficiency in programming tools such as MATLAB, STK, Visualyse, C++, or Python. Experience with high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, and implementation methodologies. Knowledge of spectrum-sharing algorithms, analysis tools, and validation methods.
