Performs diagnostic sleep studies related to the evaluation and treatment of patients with sleep disorders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists AND 18 months Sleep Lab experience OR Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) through American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) AND 18 months Sleep Lab experience OR Respiratory therapist licensure as required by the state in which services will be provided: WV: Licensed Respiratory Therapist Registered (LRTR) or Licensed Respiratory Therapist Certified (LRTC) through the West Virginia Board of Respiratory Care AND One (1) year of Respiratory Therapist experience PA: Respiratory Therapist through Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine AND One (1) year of Respiratory Therapist experience AND Respiratory Therapist must be certified in ONE of the following through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC):
2. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Associates Degree in an Allied Health Field, or Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program. 3. ACLS Certification EXPERIENCE: 1. Respiratory Therapist with 1-2 years sleep lab experience 2.
