The Program Coordinator provides administrative, planning, and logistical support for Innovation & Entrepreneurship's (I&E) educational programs and events. This role serves as a key point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and partners, supporting certificate programs, academic offerings, and organization-wide initiatives. The position reports to the Program Director for Education and works closely with the broader I&E team.

What You'll Do:

Program, Academic, and Event Support (80%)

- Support logistics for educational programs and events across the I&E organization, including room scheduling, registrations, and materials preparation.

- Serve as a primary contact for students regarding I&E certificates, admissions, registration, and program participation; assist students in understanding certificate requirements, course options, and enrollment processes.

- Coordinate academic course scheduling and registration each term, including monitoring enrollments, assigning permission numbers, and liaising with the Registrar for classroom scheduling and course management.

- Enter, update, and report academic and program data using systems such as Department Scheduler Validator, DukeHub, the Course Request Website, and related tools.

- Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and timecard approval for student workers.

- Perform accounting-related tasks, including verifying and maintaining financial records, processing invoices, travel expenses, reimbursements, and corporate card purchases.

Data, Office, and Administrative Support (20%)

- Enter, update, and maintain student, alumni, program, and event data in internal systems and databases.

- Run basic reports and perform data checks to support program tracking and planning.

- Organize and maintain accurate electronic records and shared files.

- Provide general office support, including ordering supplies, scheduling meetings, and greeting visitors.

- Assist with routine administrative tasks as needed to support I&E operations.

Anticipated Pay Range

Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $44,766.00 to USD $71,706.00. Duke University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills; internal peer equity; as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
