Job Description:

As an entry-level Process Engineer, you'll play a hands-on role in building and improving cutting-edge electronic products. You'll support printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) and system-level manufacturing, working closely with production, test operations, and advanced equipment. In this role, you'll help drive real improvements in throughput, yield, and quality-using data, problem-solving, and continuous improvement techniques to make a visible impact from day one.

Responsibilities:

  • Program automated manufacturing and test equipment
  • Develop, Implement, Maintain and Improve
    • Process and Test Equipment
    • Manufacturing and Test Processes
    • Fixtures and Tooling
  • Develop and update documents such as assembly instructions, SOP's, fixture and tooling drawings
  • Daily yield monitoring with root cause analysis of failures and implementation of corrective actions
  • Perform capacity and throughput analysis to identify operation bottlenecks and reduce manufacturing times
  • Active involvement in weekly cross functional team meetings to:
    • Drive yield improvements
    • Reduce scrap
    • Maintain production schedules and deliverables
    • Ensure safety and workplace organization through 6S activities
    • Improve production efficiencies
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) to ensure manufacturability
  • Provide training to production operators/technicians

Requirements/Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics or Materials Science
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
  • Understanding and prior use of statistical analysis of data
  • Prior experience leading improvement or development projects
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with changing schedules and priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and mistake proofing (Poka-yoke)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Engineering experience supporting manufacturing operations
  • Prior experience developing technical documentation (SOP's, work instructions, etc)
  • Prior utilization of statistical software such as Minitab, JMP and Tableau
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts
  • CAD (Solidworks or similar) experience

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $70,304-$143,000.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
