We are seeking a Senior Manager, Total Rewards to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Waltham, MA office.

Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Total Rewards is responsible for the strategic design, governance, and execution of the company's total rewards programs, including compensation and global benefits. This role ensures that programs are competitive, compliant, scalable, and aligned with the company's business objectives and talent strategy. The Senior Manager serves as a subject-matter expert for global benefits and compensation, providing strategic guidance to senior leaders and partnering closely with Finance, Legal, and external vendors.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy, design, and ongoing evolution of total rewards programs, including compensation and global benefits.
  • Own global benefits programs across multiple regions, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and alignment with the employee value proposition.
  • Develop and maintain compensation frameworks, job architecture, salary structures, and incentive programs.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and pay equity analyses to inform rewards strategy and leadership decision-making.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and senior leaders to ensure governance, compliance, and fiscal responsibility of total rewards programs.
  • Oversee external vendors, brokers, and consultants supporting benefits and compensation programs globally.
  • Lead annual benefits renewals, vendor evaluations, and cost management initiatives.
  • Leverage HRIS and compensation systems to deliver scalable programs, insights, and executive-level reporting.
  • Support compensation and benefits due diligence and integration for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of compensation and benefits analysts.
  • Other duties as assigned and required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or related field; Relevant certification (e.g., CCP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • 9+ years of progressive experience in U.S. total rewards, compensation, and benefits, including 2+ years managing a team.
  • Experience managing international total rewards programs is preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of global labor laws, compliance regulations, and best practices in compensation and benefits.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to partner cross functionally and with senior leaders at a strategic level.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This position offers a total compensation range of $172,000.00 to $195,000.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
