Intelligence Planner

The Opportunity:

Support strategic context, operational design, and mission analysis. Apply critical and creative thinking to define the nature of complex national security problems. Conceptualize and construct frameworks to explain the Intelligence environment. Analyze client's mission and intent, organizational relationships, and purpose of proposed operations to develop strategic knowledge of the operational environment and frame mission analysis. Assist in the development and refinement of the command's internal strategy, ensuring alignment with command priorities and operational requirements. Develop, lead, and manage multiple detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements, Plan of Action and Milestones (PoAMs), and Component Support Plans, to the command's long-term strategy.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience utilizing Joint Operation Planning

  • Experience in the Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP) or Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP)

  • Experience coordinating intelligence production with PIRs, campaign plans, OPLANs and CONPLANs

  • Experience briefing senior military and government officials

  • Knowledge of national security strategy and joint military doctrine

  • Ability to develop and analyze strategic, operational, and campaign plans

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience in all-source intelligence analysis or cyber intelligence planning, OR Associate's degree and 4+ years of experience in all-source intelligence analysis or cyber intelligence planning, OR Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in all-source intelligence analysis or cyber intelligence planning

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience as an all-source analyst supporting cyber-focused mission partners

  • Experience as a Cyber Operations Planner

  • Experience with penetration testing tools

  • Knowledge of ports, protocols, and common network configurations

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidently interfacing with leadership

  • Network+, Security+, CEH, CCNA, or SANS Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
