As a Security Officer - Bike Patrol Industrial BID in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This role requires both driving and armed responsibilities, offering an engaging environment where you provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behaviors or situations to the appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points to help maintain authorized entry and exit of individuals.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies by following established protocols.
• Maintain a visible security-related presence to help deter potential incidents at the government location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
