What to Expect

We're seekinga driven and experiencedTPO DataAnalyst to join the Tesla Energy Business Operations team, supporting meeting quarterly targets for Powerwall,Wall Connector, Solar Roof, and other Tesla Energy products.

As a key member of the team, you will foster strong relationships with Commercial Energy stakeholders, particularly the Commercial Sales and Sales Operations teams, to drive business growth and success.Withexpertisein solar financing models, you willfacilitateseamless support for TPO implementations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer enablement, sales optimization, and operational efficiency. Your role will involve strategicreview ofvarious financing structures,focus on developing and refining critical reports and analytical insights that inform sales funnel optimization, and business decision-making. As the subject matter expert for solar TPO reporting andoperations, you will provide actionable insights and recommendations onstrategies with review of changes intax credits, pricing models, and regulatory compliance, while contributing to the global data analytics team by supporting data mapping, validation, and quality assurance efforts as needed.


What You'll Do
  • Develop and delivertimely,accurate, and actionable TPO analysis and reporting to inform solar energy performance, including savings estimates, ROI calculations, and tax credit implications, aligning with established criteria and metrics
  • Handle end-to-end operational processing of sales orders, including invoicing, refunds, data recording,responding to cross-departmental inquiries, and swiftly investigating and resolving system discrepancies
  • Design, develop, andmaintainkey reports, ensuring data integrity and proactively improving formats as business modelsevolve
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for solarandstoragesystem data, regulatory knowledge, and financing tools, integrating data from multiple systems into reports and supporting data mapping during system migrations or updates
  • Streamline andconsolidatereports on solar savings, contract terms, and performance metrics to enhance usability, ensuring each meets specific businessneeds
  • Provide ad hoc analytics support for customer inquiries,utilizingSQL, advanced MS Excel, and solar modeling software to drive data-driven insights

What You'll Bring
  • Degree inEngineering, Science, Mathematics, Applied Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimal3years of SQL, Tableau,MicrosoftBIand advanced MS Excel modeling or solar-specific tools for financial and energy analysis
  • Minimal3years performing business analyticsand operations
  • Prior experience working with Sales, Sales Ops, or Project Management in solar or energy industries strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with extremely fast-paced organizations strongly preferred

    Expected Compensation
    $72,000 - $108,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
