The Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), part of SPA's Space and Intelligence Division, is a specialized provider of systems engineering and trusted advisory services to the Space and National Intelligence community. We utilize mission-proven, data-driven advisory tools and capabilities. Responsibilities We are seeking a motivated Launch Security Operations Specialist (LSOS) to support launch base security operations for Government space launch activities. This entry-level position provides day-to-day security operations support across all launch base-related activities in accordance with NRO, Space Force, and inter-agency security policies and procedures, supporting the protection of space vehicles, launch vehicles, facilities, personnel, and information throughout space vehicle transportation, processing, integration, and launch base operations. This role is ideal for candidates beginning a career in Government or aerospace security operations, offers exposure to mission-critical launch environments, and includes on-the-job training; candidates should demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a strong interest in supporting Government launch security operations in a mission-focused environment. Key responsibilities include but not limited to: Provides overall security operations support for launch base activities, including support for security operations associated with space vehicle transportation, processing, and integration activities. The role supports launch base operations security and day-to-day security execution, including monitoring security and payload processing facilities to ensure compliance with established security requirements. The LSOS implements and supports general security requirements across launch base facilities and operational areas. The LSOS supports access control systems, badging, and visitor control processes and assists with personnel security functions such as visitor processing, security escorting, and clearance verification. The position supports alarm, event notification, mass notification, and life safety systems, as well as emergency notification processes. Additional responsibilities include assisting with launch program security coordination and scheduling support and supporting physical security functions, including SCIF accreditation and compliance activities. The LSOS supports antiterrorism and force protection measures at launch facilities and assists with mail screening activities and Government property accountability. Will support emergency management activities and response coordination and may assist with information system security support activities as required. Supports implementation of NRO launch security policy and participates in inter-agency and inter-IC working groups and policy meetings as required. Qualifications Required Qualifications:
