Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol

As a Security Officer - Retail Mall Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail or mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, tenants, and/or employees by providing directions or information as requested while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Support Allied Universal in upholding high standards of security-related service and professionalism at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
