The Contribution You'll bring to this Role:

The Vice President, Corporate Controller & Treasurer is a senior financial leader responsible for overseeing all accounting, financial consolidations, treasury, and internal control functions for a complex, multi-site manufacturing organization. This role serves as a key partner to the CFO and private equity sponsors, ensuring financial integrity, liquidity management, lender compliance, and exit readiness.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical accounting expertise, hands-on treasury leadership, and experience operating in a private equity environment characterized by leverage, pace, and high-performance expectations. This role will be a high-impact leadership opportunity to help shape the financial foundation of a growing private equity platform, drive operational rigor, and play a critical role in value creation and exit execution.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer this role is responsible for driving a culture of financial integrity, compliance and transparency that creates a culture of financial discipline across the organization.

What You'll Do at Justrite:



  1. Corporate Controllership & Financial Reporting:



  • Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, cost accounting, inventory, revenue recognition, fixed assets and intercompany accounting
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across multiple entities leveraging different ERP systems
  • Oversee preparation of GAAP financial statements for executives, Board, and PE sponsors
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors; manage annual audits, quality of earnings, and other transaction-related diligence
  • Maintain and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls in compliance with SOX-lite or sponsor standards
  • Partner with operations to ensure accurate standard costing, variance analysis, and margin visibility
  • Company technical accounting lead that ensure compliance in areas of highly technical nature (i.e. pension accounting, medical IBNR/IBNP, foreign exchange gain or loss)


2. System Consolidations:




    • Responsible for the company wide financial consolidation system (OneStream) used for US GAAP financial statements and financial reporting tools
    • Drive a centralized structure with strong date governance to ensure OneStream is the true system of record for all internal, external financial reporting needs
    • Lead enhancements, implementations, or integrations as needed. Drive process improvements and automation to enhance scalability, accuracy, and speed


    3. Treasury & Cash Management:




      • Own all treasury functions, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, banking relationships, and covenant compliance
      • Oversee debt compliance and reporting under the company's credit facilities, coordinate with lenders and private equity sponsors
      • Lead cash flow forecasting and scenario modeling to support strategic decisions, acquisitions, and capital allocation
      • Evaluate and manage insurance programs, risk management activities and foreign exchange exposure as applicable
      • Help manage working capital optimization initiatives, including inventory, AR, AP, and supply chain financing


      4. Private Equity Reporting & Stakeholder Management:




        • Help in the preparation of monthly/quarterly board packages and executive presentation that synthesize performance results with forward-looking insights
        • Align internal reporting with private-equity sponsor requirements, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timeliness.
        • Support debt covenant reporting, lender requirements, and other financial compliance needs
        • Ensure company has the proper controls and tracking in place that would support exit readiness with minimal quality of earning adjustments
        • Drive controls and compliance around spending targets for SG&A and lead the preparation of the management incentive program


        5.Team Leadership & Development




          • Lead and develop a high-performing team capable of supporting a fast-paced, data-driven PE environment
          • Foster a culture of strong financial controls, accountability, continuous improvement, and partnership
          • Champion adoption of modern financial systems, business intelligence tools, and automation strategies


          Your Skills and Expertise:

          To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:



          • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, CPA required
          • 12+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience, including senior controllership roles
          • Experience working in a private-equity-owned environment strongly preferred
          • Prior experience in private equity-backed businesses strongly preferred
          • Demonstrated expertise in GAAP, audit management, lender reporting and treasury operations
          • Strong technical accounting judgement and attention to detail
          • Manufacturing industry experience required, knowledge of cost accounting principles, inventory management and strong cost controls
          • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor)
          • Proficiency in financial consolidation software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion/HFM, OneStream, Vena etc.) is a must
          • Proven ability to communicate with C-suite, business unit leadership and board-level stakeholders
          • Advanced proficiency leveraging Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, etc...) is required
          • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
          • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities (coach, mentor, and develop staff)

          Compensation:

          The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $240,000 to $275,000.

          Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
