Title Associate

Pay Rate: $19/hour

Hours: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday

Location: Palm Bay (Work from Office)

POSITION PURPOSE:

Process incoming documents for Title Services closing and recording; identifying any item including but not limited to title execution problems; such as matters that may prevent recording.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Quality Control: Review closing packages to ensure all signatures and dates are in the right spots and that documents are complete.
  • Documentation Support: Help prepare and submit important records (like Deeds and Mortgages) to county offices using our digital platforms.
  • Problem Solving: Identify missing information and coordinate with borrowers or lenders to get the right details.
  • Project Tracking: Manage our post-closing mailbox and track the status of documents to ensure they are recorded on time.
  • Communication: Serve as a helpful point of contact for internal teams and clients regarding the status of their paperwork.
  • Research: Use online databases and phone outreach to verify property information and follow up on outstanding items.
  • This position may require over time, at times on a daily basis; must be available to work additional hours on short notice as determined by management to meet client service level agreements
  • Perform other duties as required.



QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school education or equivalent

Job Related Experience:



  • Knowledge of mortgage documents and title ownership.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet Explorer required.
  • Strong PC skills and ability to adapt to data base systems and Internet access.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Must be able to work within required deadlines and turn times.
