Watertown, SD

Join our team at Terex Utilities and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Sales Coordinator to contribute to the Terex team in Watertown, SD.

As the Sales Coordinator, you will work with Project Leaders and Sales to match customer requirements with Terex configurations. This position is critical to business development efforts by supporting the development of sales specifications, quotations and bids, and providing customer solutions for highly customized equipment for specified government and commercial customers. The role focuses on supporting major components including chassis and body specifications and unit compliance to bid specifications.

What you'll do

  • Review and evaluate technical specifications, research and understand integration of appropriate major components and develop compliance responses
  • Interpret aerial/derrick unit bid specifications and compare to Terex standard designs
  • Develop compliance response identifying all deviations
  • Complete unit engineering quote requests to address deviations where appropriate
  • Process orders when customer PO is received

What you'll bring

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months + experience in sales support, parts sales or CSR role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Experience coordinating technical sales proposals including managing, validating and reviewing proposal data and documentsand creating sales orders after bid award
  • CRM, CPQ and ERP system experience
  • Commercial service and/or sales background, involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and/or medium chassis applications
  • Experience working with heavy equipment industry
  • MS Office
  • Sales proposal development/process management skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of fast-paced, cross-functional analytical teams
  • Manage multiple project priorities and deadlines

The compensation range for this position is $28.00-$39.00 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
