Application Window Open date: December 17, 2025 Next review date: Monday, Jan 5, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Wednesday, Jan 21, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Department of Molecular & Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applications for a Junior/Assistant Specialist in the Thomas Mann Lab, in the area of immunology. The Candidate will primarily perform research on a day-to-day basis with occasional lab management and organizational tasks. Specifically, research will focus on signal transduction in primary CD8 T cells in vitro or responding to viral infection or cancer in mice. The chosen candidate will be working with mice, performing cell culture, and conducting molecular biology and biochemistry assays. The candidate will use R analysis to design genetic and biochemical experiments. The Candidate will be expected to present work within the lab frequently but informally.
