As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with location protocols.
• Maintain thorough documentation of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and law enforcement when necessary to address security-related matters.
• Remain alert to potential hazards and provide assistance as needed during emergencies or drills.
• Adhere to all Allied Universal and site-specific policies, including those related to the carrying and use of firearms.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
