Security Officer - Retail Facility Patrol -Full Time

As a Security Officer - Retail Facility Patrol -Full Time in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail environment, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for customers and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas using a vehicle. You will deliver exceptional customer service while supporting a welcoming environment guided by our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment for employees and customers at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the retail location.
• Assist with crowd management and help to maintain order during busy periods or special events at the location.
• Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
