As a Security Guard - Utilities Patrol Team in Plainfield, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, interacting with visitors and staff, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the utility location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities, including presence of unauthorized persons or property disturbances.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the utility location.
• Complete required reports and logs in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
