About the Role We are seeking an Help Desk Support to join our client's team on a 6-month contract with the possibility to be extended but not guaranteed. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology and customer service, looking to gain valuable experience in a dynamic IT environment. Key Responsibilities * Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, and instant messaging regarding software, hardware, mobile devices, email, and operating systems. * Diagnose and troubleshoot initial hardware/software issues; resolve basic problems such as password resets, document unlocking, and print job rerouting. * Document all issues and resolutions in help desk software, ensuring accurate follow-up. * Collaborate with IT team members to research and resolve complex issues. * Utilize remote tools to diagnose and resolve user errors. * Set up user accounts and manage system access/security roles. * Maintain effective communication with supervisors and ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications * Education: * Two-year degree in Computer Technology or equivalent experience required. * Four-year degree in Computer Science is a plus. * Technical Skills: * Strong knowledge of Windows PCs. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint), Outlook, Internet, and SAP preferred. * Soft Skills: * Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. * Strong customer service orientation and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fargo, ND. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
