Outcomes Assessment Specialist (Data Analyst II) Requisition ID: 2025-9708 # of Openings: 1 Location: US-UT-Logan Category: Program Management & Support Position Type: Benefited Full-Time Job Classification: Exempt College: College of Veterinary Medicine Department: Dean-Veterinary Medicine Advertised Salary: Commensurate with experience plus excellent benefits Overview The College of Veterinary Medicine has an Outcomes Assessment Specialist (Data Analyst II) position who will work with educators, administrators, subject-matter experts, alumni, employers and program managers to collect, evaluate, and analyze student learning and program outcomes data. Incumbent will also prepare statistical, narrative reports and recommendations, and participate in the analysis and interpretation of data as appropriate. Must have advanced knowledge and ability to work independently, engage in systematic data analysis and outcomes assessment planning with skill and leadership, and provide experience-based insights to educators, administrators, and program managers via consultation. The Outcomes Assessment Specialist reports to the Associate Dean for Academic Programs. Responsibilities

College/Department Highlights The Outcomes Assessment Specialist will be joining the college at an exciting point of transformation. In 2022 the state of Utah approved the creation of a full four-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree program at USU, and the inaugural class of 42 students has been admitted in the fall of 2025. Class size is expected to increase to 80 veterinary students in subsequent years. The new college is the only veterinary medical education program in Utah.
