Under supervision, perform a full range of kitchen, customer areas, and bathrooms cleaning tasks. Wash pots, dishes and equipment by hand and with industrial dishwashers. Use hand tools to sweep, mop, clean bathrooms, dust, polish silverware, and vacuum. May work individually or as part of a group. Position is Per Diem on-call and without standardized schedule. Perform a full range of cleaning & organizing tasks in kitchen, customer areas, bathrooms, interior & exterior docks areas & other areas. Wash pots, pans, food preparation bowls & dishes. Support workstations & production kitchen areas with waste & cardboard sorting & removal. Ensure all hand washing & bathroom areas are fully stocked, clean & ready to use. Operate various unit equipment & machinery, dishes & glassware, utensils & tools with care. Utilize hand tools, sweep, mop, dust, polish silverware, vacuum, sort, organize & wash equipment & dishes or areas of the facility. Work with various pieces of industrial level dishwashers & cleaning equipment following operating guidelines provided by manufacturer. Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to all equipment & areas assigned, following deep cleaning schedules & processes established by the SOP provided for each area of responsibility. Maintain general security of the Unit food, equipment & supplies. Sweep, mop & spot mop stains/spillage from floors. Strip/wax floors. Remove cobwebs from buildings. Dust, clean, & polish equipment, furniture, walls, light fixtures, window blinds, windowsills, vent grills & elevators. Clean & disinfect restrooms, waste receptacles, drinking fountains, partitions & doors. Fill soap & paper dispensers. Empty & clean trash & recycling receptacles. Operate power equipment safely, including vacuum cleaners, wet/dry vacuums, floor buffers, floor scrubbers, polishing machines, carpet extractors, shampoo machines, etc. Organize, clean & maintain adequate supply closets.

- High school diploma and / or equivalent certification / experience / training
- Customer service experience in a retail and/or food service setting to cooperate with public and other staff members and convey a helpful, positive attitude.
- Experience washing pots/pans/dishes in a service-oriented setting.
- Experience cleaning and maintaining sanitation and safety of a retail or food service environment.
- Skills to communicate in English, both orally and in written form to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and interact effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests.
- Knowledge of proper procedures for lifting, handling broken glass and skill to use wet floor signs when mopping floors of cleaning up spills.
- Skill to verify proper concentration of sterilized solution using test strips.
