We're currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Shop Mechanic in Commerce City, CO, to perform preventative and non-scheduled maintenance on various types of equipment at our shop. Our mechanics will occasionally need to travel to a local job site but will return to the shop to complete their day.

We are currently offering a limited-time sign-on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license, and sign-on bonuses for new hires without a current CDL license are also available at a reduced amount. New employees who meet the criteria outlined in our sign-on bonus program will be eligible for the full payout.

The pay range for this position is $26.00-$36.00 per hour depending on experience. We offer 100% fully paid on-the-job training.

What You'll Do:



  • Inspect, repair, and replace components and systems on industrial trucks and operational equipment.
  • Complete repairs and regular maintenance on a variety of equipment, including hydraulics, electrical systems, robotics, high-pressure water pumps, and other relevant components.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other crucial parts to ensure optimal operational conditions.
  • Use measuring and diagnostic tools to evaluate and test equipment, making adjustments, conducting tests, and performing repairs.
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, maintaining detailed daily maintenance and repair records.
  • Move machinery as needed.
  • Manage inventories of equipment, parts, and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including proper upkeep of tools and equipment.



What We Need from You:



  • Minimum of 5 years of mechanical experience, with previous experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, high-pressure pumps, and ASE certification.
  • Knowledge and understanding of diesel and gas engines, and hydraulic systems.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
  • CDL Class A or B preferred.
  • Comfortable working out of an indoor truck and equipment shop each day.
  • Must be able to travel to local job sites as needed.
  • Proficient in the use of online systems and computer software.
  • Knowledgeable with reading diagnostic codes and able to diagnose complex issues.
