Supervise and manage daily operations of the natural gas processing facility safely and in alignment with company strategy, while fostering a culture of professionalism, safety, and adherence to core values.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and review daily plant operations.
  • Analyze plant performance for improvements and manage the implementation of identified improvements.
  • Prepare capital and expense documentation to derive Authorization for Expenditures (AFE's).
  • Understand the difference between capital and expense AFE's
  • Work with engineering and operations team on proper specifications and installation of process equipment.
  • Manage staff and contract employees to achieve goals with available resources.
  • Negotiate time and cost disputes with contractors and all vendors.
  • Manage all aspects of PSM program at plant facility.
  • Manage and supervise the training of all plant operators while maintaining clear standards.
  • Adhere to and manage required safety and environmental regulations for plant facility
  • Manage all aspects of plant turnarounds - budgeting, timing, unexpected occurrences, safety, etc.
  • Prepare yearly operational budgets for the plant facility
  • Manage and promote day-to-day safety expectations
  • Plan and organize workloads and staff assignments; train, motivate, and evaluate assigned staff; review progress and direct change as necessary.
  • Maintain schedule of projects and supervise completion while ensuring inventories are maintained to support proper plant function.
  • Identify and evaluate solutions to optimize plant operations to maximize throughput and runtime through cost efficient implementation.
  • Lead in forecasting budgets for yearly plan operating and capital expenditures.
  • Adhere and Promote Company's Core Values - Integrity, Ownership, Urgency, Alignment, and Innovation.
  • Champion the company's Vision and Mission.
  • Adhere to established work schedule, attendance schedule, and practice punctuality for work and meetings.
  • Supervise employees and conduct employee performance evaluations.
  • Assist with salary administration.
  • Assist in and hiring and retention of employees.
  • Maintains company and employee confidence and protect company assets including intellectual property by keeping information confidential.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing planned strategy.

Other Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervises personnel and conduct employee performance evaluations.
  • Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.
  • Self-starter with proven leadership skills, team oriented, calm while working under pressure, and dedicated to developing a strong workforce culture.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Ten (10) years minimum experience in the operation of oil and gas plant facilities or other related field.
  • Ability to work established work schedule.
  • Mastery and working knowledge of mechanical skills.
  • Ability to accurately solve problems.
  • Ability to work long hours in order to cover/monitor assigned territory.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex information into an organized and presentable manner.
  • Self-starter with proven leadership skills, team player, comfortable working under pressure, and dedicated to developing workforce.
  • Good management, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in the use and application of the following computer software:
    • Preferred: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).

Education Requirements:

  • Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent; or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability, and skill to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
