About the role: As a Dukovany Quality Engineer you will develop the Quality Program, perform vendor oversight, procurement documentation review, customer interface, internal and external audits across the Dukovany program. Additionally, you will work with Supplier Quality Oversight. You will report to the Quality Manager of Dukovany 5&6. We prefer this remote/mobile role to be based in the Eastern or Central time zones. Key Responsibilities: Develop the Quality program and procedures for the Dukovany project. Perform a variety of quality assurance responsibilities to ensure externally sourced products meet the quality and technical requirements defined by Westinghouse. You will involve yourself in developing complex plans for supplier oversight, verifying quality activities, and generating certification documents for externally provided items. Develop and implement supplier surveillance and oversight plans for complex and first of a kind procurement to ensure compliance with quality and technical standards. Complete the resolution of complex supplier quality issues which adversely impact product quality. Perform verification and acceptance activities to confirm that suppliers provide items and services that conform to Westinghouse purchase order requirements. Produce certification documents, which identify the procurement requirements met by the purchased material or equipment, such as codes, standards, and other specifications imposed by Westinghouse Customers, for major equipment and components. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, technical area or equivalent. 5+ years of experience. An NQA-1 Certified Lead Auditor certification helpful. Achieve lead auditor qualifications (ANSI 45.2.23/NQA-1) during career. Achieve inspector qualification (ANSI N45.2.9/NQA-1) during career. Working knowledge and application with US NRC Regulations and European Standards, such as 10CFR50 Appendix B and 10CFR21, required. National standards of quality assurance, including ASME B&PV Code, ISO, ANSI ASME NQA-1 ESPN, RCC-M, RCC-E, ISO 9001, ISO 9712, and Appendices required. Furthermore, ISO 19443, 10005, ANSI N45.2, and the daughter standards, and IEEE Standards, are also important. Familiarity with NDE techniques and applicable practices such as SNT-TC-1A, ESPN / RCC.
