Genesis10 is seeking a Contract Salesforce Administrator/Developer for a 12-month contract with the possibility to convert to a permanent position with a client located in Milwaukee, WI. This is a hybrid role. Responsibilities
- Platform Implementation, Development, Administration, and Enhancement
- Serve as subject matter expert, developer, and administrator for our Global Investment Banking instance of Salesforce.
- Perform both declarative (configuration-based) and programmatic (code-based) development on the Salesforce platform.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, installation and configuration procedures, troubleshooting guidelines, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate the rollout of enhancements to the production environment, including coordination across all IT areas involved.
- Supply Service Desk Technicians with documentation and procedures for resolving common or recurring problems.
- Open, manage, and resolve application issues with external application vendors.
- Participate in managing the feature request and support backlog.
- Review and understand organizational drivers and assist in defining required features, mapping Salesforce capabilities to business processes.
- Support new releases and bug fixes as they relate to the platform's project management.
Client Support and Education
- Provide technical support to diagnose and resolve issues and troubleshoot complex "how-to" questions.
- Help the business understand the effort, risk, and impact of making changes to Salesforce.
- Promote user adoption across the business to ensure effective use of Salesforce for business results.
- Create and maintain training materials and user documentation as needed.
Learn and Expand Knowledge
- Stay current on Salesforce releases (patches, upgrades, etc.), news, and industry developments.
- Participate in Salesforce Success Community and local user groups to continue developing skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent experience and Salesforce certifications will also be considered.
- 7-10 years of development, declarative configuration, and administration experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud.
- Certifications required: Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer.
- Hybrid Developer/Administrator skillset required - must be comfortable performing declarative configuration as well as programmatic development.
- Proficient in developing and maintaining Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components, and JavaScript within the Salesforce platform. Ability to design scalable solutions and write clean, efficient code using Salesforce best practices is essential.
- Experience with full-stack development; MuleSoft experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other enterprise systems using Salesforce APIs.
- Collaborative mindset for partnering with IT and other developers across the business.
- Knowledge of Microsoft development tools is a plus but not required (Object-Oriented design, C#, MVC, ASP.NET, Web API).
- Diverse Salesforce product knowledge and proven technical expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Strong understanding of the trade-offs between declarative and programmatic solutions.
- Strong understanding of data management, data administration, and data modeling.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Experience creating reports and dashboards on the Salesforce platform.
- Focused, driven, and an exceptional problem solver.
- Experience with documentation and end-user training is a plus.
- Agile methodology experience highly preferred (Kanban, User Stories, Sizing, Retrospectives, etc.).
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Understanding of change management methodologies is a plus.
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as New Journey/Genesis10 employees will be considered.
