Job Summary:

The Management Consulting (MC) Intern utilizes their educational background and organizational skills to assist the MC practice in one of its segments - Healthcare Consulting, Operational Excellence, Transformation & Technology, Sourcing & Supply Chain, Strategy & Innovation, People Strategy & Solutions, Turnaround & Restructuring, or Human Capital Management. It is anticipated that the Intern will be primarily focused on one segment of the practice.

The MC intern will be part of a team focused on serving the firm's client base with experienced colleagues who will provide direction, coaching and learning opportunities.

Job Duties:



  • Assists with informational interviews and facilitation of meetings with clients during engagement process
  • Assists in documentation of project requirements and business processes
  • Assists in development of initial deliverables and/or solutions to client issues
  • Takes minutes during meetings, and produces a meeting summary to present to clients
  • Leverages templates to prepare drafts of various reports, presentations and documentation
  • Utilizes research tools, databases and trade publications to develop an understanding of a client's industry
  • Assists with research for and drafting of proposals
  • Assists with documentation and work papers associated with client engagements
  • Other duties, as required


Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:



  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program, required; with a focus in Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Communications, Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Health Sciences, or other relevant field of study, preferred


Experience:



  • Project delivery experience, preferred
  • Leadership experience, preferred


License/Certifications:



  • N/A


Software:



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, required


Language:



  • N/A


Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically business / report writing
  • Ability to work effectively within a team setting
  • Strong analytical and basic research skills
  • Solid organizational skills, and ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
  • Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
  • Able to work in a deadline-driven environment, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to travel based on client and practice needs



Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

California Range: $39.00/hr - $45.00/hr
Colorado Range: $34.00/hr - $38.00/hr
Illinois Range: $36.00/hr - $40.00/hr
Maryland Range: $34.00/hr - $38.00/hr
Massachusetts Range: $36.00/hr - $40.00/hr
Minnesota Range: $32.00/hr - $36.00/hr
New Jersey Range: $38.00/hr - $42.00/hr
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $34.00/hr - $40.00/hr
Washington Range: $35.00/hr - $40.00/hr
Washington DC Range: $34.00/hr - $38.00/hr
